Gucci New, Fun U-Play Watches

 Gucci has come out with some really trendy and fashionable designs, recently.  The Gucci U-Play watches have style and sophistication, yet offer a bit of whimsy.  They come with interchangeable components, which allow your personality to shine through.  The Gucci U-Play women’s watches have round dials, which are adorned with the G shadow logo.  One of my favorites features a brushed steel dial.  The monochromatic styling of this model is chic.  All of the Gucci u-play watches are Swiss Quartz movements and crafted by master watch makers.  The luxurious style and craftsmanship run head to head with Gucci.  The U-Play women’s line is crafted using some of the iconic features which have made Gucci famous.  The horsebit detailing is present, along with the Gucci “G” stamp on the bracelets inner side.  These watches retail for just under $700.00, and carry with them all of the Gucci glamour.  They come complete with scratch resistant sapphire crystals, and are water resistant to 99 feet.  All the Gucci U-Play watches are Swiss made and authentically Gucci.  These women’s timepieces are updated and elegant.  Their contemporary flare keeps them current, and Gucci styling makes them a traditional classic.

Raymond Weil Luxe Creations

TAG Heuer Microtimer White Alligator

Talk about different, the TAG Heuer Microtimer is that and a whole lot more.  The women’s Microtimer is designed with femininity and futuristic styling.  This Swiss avant-garde watchmaker came back to their roots, when designing this creation.  The Microtimer White Alligator is marvelous to look at, and even more fascinating to wear.  It is a precision instrument, that’s for certain.  The Microtimer is accurate to within 1/1000^th of a second, but that is not where the story ends.  This women’s watch has other appealing functions in addition to the traditional TAG Heuer chronograph features.  Of course it has a second time zone displayed, but it also features total and split times display, and a stand by mode, which will turn off the display.  The Swiss Quartz movement means precision accuracy and a lightweight feel.  The dial offers a digital display which is bright and guarantees easy readability.  The dial is covered with a scratch resistant and anti reflective coated sapphire crystal.  The bezel on this women’s Microtimer is crafted in polished stainless-steel, and the beautiful bracelet on this watch is made of white alligator leather.  This watch is bold and features elegant and glamorous styling.  The TAG Heuer Microtimer White Alligator is more than a watch, it’s a fashion statement.

Movado Men's Ezperanza Steel Watch

Movado has taken the simple shape of the circle and transformed it in so many different and interesting ways, we always recognize it, but we are constantly, pleasantly surprised, at the same time.  The Movado dot has come to be the symbol of their designs, but Movado has taken this element and made it fresh and new.  The Movado Esperanza Chronograph Men’s Watch is, obviously Movado styling, but it has a more functional flare.  The men’s timepiece, model number 0605823 is one of Movado’s fantastic chronographs.  The men’s model has been crafted from solid stainless-steel, and finished with a polished presentation.  The case is steel and in a men’s size, measuring 41mm in diameter and 7.5mm in thickness.  The men’s Esperanza is water resistant to 100 feet, so don’t go swimming in this chrono.  It is made to perform on dry land.  The crystal is a scratch resistant sapphire, which has been coating to prevent glare, as well.  The Movado Esperanza Collection has a uniquely designed bracelet.  The polished stainless-steel strap in produced in four rows of interlocking steel bars.  The look is masculine and pleasing to the eye.  No doubt the Esperanza men’s watch will have you taking a second look at Movado.

Movado And Scharf, Artistic Creations

If you haven’t seen the Kenny Scharf’s collection for Movado, your eyes are in for a treat. Kenny has been able to take his graphic artistic style and translate it into some amazing timepieces.  The Kenny Scharf collection is made up of 6 unique and funky works from the artist.  His brilliantly colorful designs depict different scenes from Kenny’s mind.  There is a purple and blue creation, which looks like thick, bubbly splashes of paint, called Blurple time.  One face features a ferocious flying dragon, maybe ferocious is too strong a word (he is smiling).  This Kenny Scharf Movado watch is named Time Flies.  Yet another of Kenny’s designs is of a one-eyed, laughing planet floating in space.  The faces on these timepieces are vivid, and imaginative.  Movado has always had great respect for artisans of all kinds.  They have shown their support of the arts in many different and varying ways, none more lively than this collection.  The Kenny Scharf Artist’s Series by Movado is specialized and in limited edition.  Only 125 of each of these unique creations will be produced.  Each will be signed and come with two interchangeable straps.  Get to know the artist, get to know Movado.

Tag Heuer Formula 1, Red Hot

Let’s get off to a fast start by racing over to Tag Heuer.  The Tag Heuer name is synonymous with sport watches, and for good reason.  Tag Heuer has created a highly successful watch line around the principles of performance.  Exceptional quality and futuristic innovation make up these watches.  They do the hard work…we reap the benefits.  The Tag Heuer Formula 1 Men’s watch is revved up and ready to race.  This extremely cool and sporty men’s watch will catch your eye, but let’s see what’s under the hood first.  The WAh1112.BT0714 Formula 1 Men’s Watch by Tag Heuer is one of the company’s newer chronographs.  Born from collaboration between Formula 1 Champion, Fernando Alonso and the Tag Heuer designers, this watch has extreme style and functionality.  The chronographic functions of this watch are for minutes, seconds, and 1/10^th of seconds.  This is a watch water resistant to 200 meters, and features a crystal made from hard scratch resistant sapphire glass.  The bezel is crafted of titanium carbide and is also scratch resistant.  The dial is a racing red, with silver hands, arms, and sub dials.  The face is encircled by a jet black ring, and this is all set on a brushed stainless-steel bracelet.  Quite a striking men’s watch!

Omega Watches Lovely De Ville Line

Omega produces a prestigious line of watches.  Omega watches have traveled to the moon and to the deepest depths of the ocean.  They have timed the Olympic Games for 20 years, but Omega’s true accomplishments can be admired by you and I any day of the week.  Omega has some wonderful collections, like the ladies De Ville.  One of my picks in this series is the De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph.  The 422.58.35.50.13.001 Women’s watch by Omega is a real work of art.  The look is completely stylish and unique, but let’s check out the brains first.  This is a self-winding chronograph and a certified chronometer.  The Co-Axial name refers to the mechanics that create greater performance and precision.  This women’s watch is equipped with a sweeping small second hand, hour hand, and minute hand, with a chronograph hand, centrally located.  The De Ville features a 52 hour power reserve. 

Now, the beauty.  This Omega watch is a lovely design, with a rich brown dial surrounded by a beautiful 18 carat rose gold case.  The dial is lit up by some brilliant round-cut diamonds, and the watch face is matched with a luxurious brown alligator leather strap.  This is a fantastic Omega watch!

Tissot Quatrato Watch

 Tissot watches, Swiss-made excellence since 1853.  Today, that reputation lives on, through their extraordinary watches.  Fine craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology give Tissot watches their appeal.  Let’s check out a few of their men’s watches.  All of these are great and really affordable watches.

First up, the PR50 Men’s Watch.  This is a big, bold example of Tissot style.  The T34148114 is a classic men’s timepiece.  It has a large round dial, featured in white.  The styling on the face is streamline, with big, easy-to-read numbers.  The date window is located at the 3 o’clock mark and the Tissot name is proudly displayed under the 12 o’clock setting.  The bezel is a scratch-resistant sapphire.  The PR50 is an all stainless-steel men’s watch. It’s Tissot, so it’s all Swiss engineering means durability.

If you like a bit more pizzazz, you might want to look at the Quatrato Men’s watch.  This Tissot watch is part of the famous T-Trend collection.  It has a stainless-steel case and bracelet, and features a deep blue dial.  The dial is a square shape, with a masculine appearance.  It is a handsome timepiece, great for the office or special nights out. 

These Tissot watches are in very traditional styles, but there is a Tissot for everyone.  Racy and sporty, or sophisticated and business-like, more styles are out there.  We’ll explore more next time.

Nicole Kidman, Omega Watch Ambassador

Omega watches have long been admired by me.  Omega has distinguished themselves as a solid, high-quality watchmaker, and I appreciate their elegant style as well as their craftsmanship.  Visit the Omega website and you’ll find that I’m not the only fan.  They have high profile Ambassadors, such as George Clooney, Michael Phelps, and Nicole Kidman.

Nicole has been an Omega watch Ambassador since 2005 and proudly wears the Seamaster Planet Ocean.  This beautiful women’s watch comes in either white or black leather strap, with our without chronographic function.  My favorite is the steel yellow-gold watch, with a white leather bracelet.  Gorgeous!

The signature Omega watch logo is displayed in yellow-gold along with the hands and hour/minute arms.  This watch is a Chronometer with a unidirectional rotating bezel.  The dial is embellished with sparkling diamonds that bring life to this watch.  The snow-white crocodile embossed leather bracelet looks amazing with the polished silver and gold-tone accents.

Omega’s Seamaster Planet Ocean has the classic Omega watch appeal, with a bit of flare. Of course, all of the innovation and quality Swiss watchmaking have gone into this watch, as well.  In this case, beauty and functionality compete.  Great choice, for Nicole…or you.

Oris Creates Exceptional Timepieces

Oris was founded in the charming city of Holstein in 1904, and continues to create mechanical marvels from this small Swiss town.  Oris manufactures some of the most mechanically advanced timepieces in the world from their ever-evolving factory.  At the heart of their watches lies the red rotor.  This patented piece of equipment is what allowed their watches to go from hand-winding to automatic movement, and the vibrant red color is distinctive to Oris watches.

The Oris lines include the Motor Sport, The Diver, The Aviation, and the Culture series.  Each featuring different esthetics, but all carrying the Oris reputation.  Accuracy reigns supreme for Oris and each of their lines puts that concept first.
